If your vehicle has been stolen and was registered in the Police e-CMRIS (Central Motor Registry Information System), you can flag it to trigger an alert that will instantly notify the police of the theft. Follow these simple steps to flag the stolen vehicle for recovery and arrest of the culprits:
- Visit https://cmris.npf.gov.ng to log in to your profile.
- Click on the arrow on your profile for options and select ‘Requests.’
- Click the ‘Flag if Stolen’ button for the vehicle you want to flag.
- The flag will be instantly broadcast nationwide to alert police formations to look out for the recovery of the vehicle and arrest the culprits.
- The status of the vehicle will remain stolen until it is recovered.
