Introduction
The Nigeria Customs Service offers prospective buyers an opportunity to buy seized goods and items on its e-auction platform, available to the highest bidder. Interested participants must first register on the platform to participate in the online auction.
What you need
- Valid Tax Identification Number (TIN)
- Valid e-mail linked to your TIN
- Phone number
How to register
- Visit auction.nigeriatradehub.gov.ng
- Create an account by signing up with your TIN
- Fund your e-wallet
- Place your bid on any desired item – you can bid for only two items in a window but can bid on each of those two items repeatedly to increase your chance of winning the item
Payment
Participants will pay a nominal administrative charge of N1,000.00 for signing up on the portal and a participation fee of N1,000.00 for each bid. Successful bidders will receive notification and details about the winning amount payable within a specific time frame. All payments for auctioned items are made through remita or designated banks.

Report/complaint
The process does not require any form of gratification or facilitation fees to secure a successful auction bid. No payments for won auctions are allowed through personal bank accounts or unofficial channels.
