The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has introduced an online Self-Service Modifications portal, which allows citizens to easily request changes to their National Identification Number (NIN) details, including name, phone number, date of birth, and address.
The portal provides a seamless method for updating these NIN data details and is accessible via https://selfservicemodification.nimc.gov.ng.
The fees for modifications of each service are as follows:
- Name: N1,522.50
- Address: N1,522.50
- Phone number: N1,522.50
- Date of birth: N16,340.00
